My friend Ned sent me a few pictures of her spring decor. She is truly a born designer, her homes have always been filled with unique design and crafty goodness.
I usually never decorate for spring, mostly because the only decorations I can seam to muster up are empty bird cages or birds nests, plastic robin eggs in a mason jar or silk flowers awkwardly sticking out of a wicker basket. Although I am sure these can be some delightful options for those who do not lack the proper execution such as I, for me the idea of using fabricated eggs and flowers anywhere in my home, reminds me too much of the days spent trudging up the stairs from my grandmother's basement with loads of porcelain bunny rabbits and silk flowers slapping me in the face, thinking "why does she need all this stuff?", to really be able to get into the spirit of spring. But these are a few roads I am more than willing to travel down when considering spring design. That is, if I can mange the execution requried.
