I love topiaries! They are a great way to add color to any space. I have seen a version of these little trees in a few boutiques and this weekend I caught the "I can make that" bug.
I added my own flair using fabric covered pots and fabric flowers.
Careful this bug is contagious.
SUPPLIES:
moss ball
pot (used modge podge and covered with fabric)
stick, branch, whatever
ground covering
hot glue
Easy as pie, but messier than play-dough.
If you need specific instruction on how to assemble, send us an email, otherwise it's pretty straight forward. Cut a piece of styrofoam to fit in your pot real snug. Jam stick into styrofoam or dig out a little hole in the styrofoam with a pair of scissors. Hot glue stick into place. Dig out a hole in moss ball or sharpen the top end of the stick... you know like a shiv and stick into moss ball. Hot glue moss ball into place. Hot glue some ground covering onto styrofoam.
Here is a tutorial for the fabric rose.
