No More Green Summer Hair

Continuing on with my summer tips :) ...

So many people have problems with green chlorine hair by the end of the summer!
An easy way to prevent it...

Clarifying shampoo
Buy a GOOD brand (no Walmart stuff, sorry) and clarify 1-2 times a week and you should have no problems with green hair. You should clarify your hair once a week anyway, but especially if you're a swimmer. It's really not that expensive, maybe $10-20 and it should last you a LONG time if you're only using it 1-2 times a week. Plus GOOD products are thicker and not watered down so you only need a tiny bit. Make sure to leave the shampoo on 3-5 minutes, then rinse. Your hair will probably be a little tangled afterwards so feel free to condition also.

What does Clarifying shampoo do?
It removes pretty much everything on your hair (except color)... hairspray, product build-up, conditioner build-up, etc.

I, personally, don't think it matters which brand you buy, just make sure it's nothing from the grocery store. EVEN THE "PROFESSIONAL" BRANDS AT THE GROCERY STORE. They are not real, people. If you look on the back of every professional brand they all say they're only guaranteed if purchased in a professional salon. :)

Anyway... here are some options...

I hope this helps! I am (currently, ha!) a blonde and both kiddos are pretty much toe-heads and we've never had a problem with green hair.
