cool SEABREEZE colors

Check out the before and after of this 50's style dresser.

These colors look so scrumptious I just want to lick them right off the screen.
Once I got the hang of the man's spray paint gun, this project was fairly easy.
This dresser was very well made, with glides and dividers for the drawers.
I love everything about this dresser except for the legs, they need replacing.
 I'm tempted to try THIS.
I'll keep you posted.

I feel like busting out with some Michael Bolton
All this piece needed was a little...
TIME, LOVE AND TENDERNESS...
oh and
BONDO.
Here is a bondo how to, proceed at your own risk, I need to work on my videography skills.

If you have never used Bondo, don't be intimidated it's not just for body shops and men. It's very simple to use and fills larger areas that might need something just a little more durable than wood filler.
Also when you come home from the store with Bondo and your husband asks,
"What's that for?" you can say, "It's bondo dummy, what do you think it's for."

  7. Took a look at '4 the love of wood' re: legs, and wow, is that gal talented! I would say it would be a great project, and agree that the existing legs are far too spindly. For a quick fix, I'd wrap them in twine to bulk them up. If you have the tools to take legs from another found piece, hey, do it, and then let us see your magic. Great post, BTW.

  8. And PS re: legs. I've seen the use of fence post tops (Home Depot) as legs since furniture legs are expensive. Easy to install, cost-effective way to transform a piece.
