If you are a pumpkin hoarder like myself, here are a few pumpkin tutorials that might have you working away in your craft room / kitchen / garage / closet or where ever else you are able to find a little peace and quiet. Again, if you are like myself, peace and quiet may not occur in a specific place, but a specific time. Nap time... pfffffft what's that? Bed time.... hmmmm.... "cringe". Bed time is like those pistachios where the edges are so close together, you can't possible pry the nut out with your fingers, so you decide, "I'll just crack this sucker open with my teeth". Next thing you know, your pulling out your cardex (cuz people still have those you know), looking for the number of your childhood dentist, because that's how long you have avoided the chair. My point is, can bed time really be so sweet if you have to step in a pile of poo to get the job done? "NO you can not save that candy in your room for later... NO you can not have a bottle of milk, you are four... NO you can not sleep on the couch with the iPad... are you freaking kidding me?" So by the time I have gotten over the trauma of "bed time", it's usually midnight and of course I have to listen to video games until 2 am. So prime working hours for me, where I can enjoy some well deserved peace and quiet, are between 2am and 6am. I have become quite dependent on crystal light "Energy". What do they put in that stuff?
Anyways, if you make a pumpkin or two send me a shout out on instagram @ littleyellowbarn. I want to see your midnight creations.
