Mirror Make-Over

I found this "antique" mirror at Goodwill a couple weeks ago tucked behind a bunch of other pictures. It was in perfect condition and a fantastic find for so cheap...

(sorry this is it already taken apart and sanded... whoops!)
Sanded. Sprayed on a coat of primer. Spray painted with Krylon Bright Idea. Used sand paper to distress. Rubbed stain after to give a nice antique finish.

*Tip: Here, in AZ, every other Saturday is 50% off at Goodwill (maybe that's the case with Goodwill's everywhere, I'm not sure), but I picked up a king size sheet for $3 to use as a drop cloth for painting. It's much cheaper than buying the canvas drop cloths that other stores have to offer (and much bigger too)!

This piece is now FOR SALE at the Pink Zebra Boutique in downtown Gilbert, AZ.

  2. This turned out so perfect. I knew when you took it home that you had a vision. You always do.
