Dark to Light Refinished Sofa Table

I refinished a sofa table for my sister a few weeks ago and loved how it turned out. It was one of those awesome projects that doesn't take much time and turns out exactly as planned.

There's nothing better than a simple, quick and easy project! Refinishing furniture, most of the time, means working with O.L.D furniture that's busted and beat to death, using glue and nails, wood filler,  reinforcing things blah blah blah....... basically, sometimes it's not all it's cracked up to be! My husband always says "I thought you liked refinishing furniture?" And I say "I do, just don't ask me right now!" :)

Anyways, that's completely besides the point, what I meant to say was this project was completely refreshing and just what I needed after weeks and weeks of finishing O.L.D pieces.

This sofa table was already adorable, but her house doesn't let in much light in so they decided to completely redo the inside, including paint on walls and paint on furniture to help liven things up a bit!

This was the first of a couple pieces. The next is an orange entertainment center (dresser) in their living room. So cute and so fun! And coming up .... as soon as I can get it posted! :)
