Make-up Reviews, Fun Faves

Like a typical girl, I love make-up and I am constantly trying new products.  Question... do you keep the product packages like I do just because the boxes are fancy?  My sister Shanda and I were just laughing at the fact that we both like to hoard empty product packages for no particular reason.  Maybe it's a girl thing.  Pretty packaging on anything just puts me in a good mood.
Here are a few very dependable products that might remind you, you are fancy too.

Love this color and cheek set. It is fun and has 4 shades of wonderful.  I use this balm on my cheeks before I apply my blush.  This helps my blush last throughout the day.  It gives my cheeks a sort of sheen that I prefer over flat blush powders.  Stila, of course, also has a great cheek and lip in-one product that is ever so depedable. Stash these in your purse for quick fixes.
Every morning I spend way too much time putting on my eyeliner.  Sue Devitt has a fabulous eye pencil that is quick and easy to throw on.  This soft liner provides a vibrant look and makes it easy to outline eyes without worrying about sculpting the perfect line.  Just try it, I swear you will thank me.  You'll save time and your eyes will still have a dramatic edge.
This tinted gloss is great for those of you who despise the extra sticky glosses that leave your husbands / boyfriends wishing you would wear the trusty ol' Bonney Bell Vanilla Frosting flavored lip gloss verses the high end lip glosses us girls like to buy.  Clarins Lip Perfecter is a happy medium, with a slightly sticky finish.  Enough "stick "to keep your gloss lasting longer but not too much "stick" that it will drive your man crazy.

The secret must be out about Benefit's They're Real because I have seen this mascara on so many blogs and in magazines, dubbing this mascara as "the best mascara".  The fabulous brush is what makes this particular mascara so special.  When I run out of Benefit's master mascara I will dip the Benefit mascara brush into my drug store mascara tube and my lashes are always extra long and full.
This brow pencil adds the VAVOOM to those brow arches.  It comes in the perfect shades of Oyster-pink or Champaign Pink, highlighting the brow without causing your eye to appear over done.  Yes, I am guilty of occasionally applying white eye shadow from lid to brow, we can't all be professional make-up artist right.
I am a bit crazy when is comes to primer.  My face has never been quite like porcelain and so I usally prefer a lot of coverage.  I feel primer is a must when using any type of foundation.  This pinkish primer brightens and gives your face a bit of a glow.  Super fancy.

I often purchase two sets of products, one set from the department store and one from the drugstore.  I like to save my fancy makeup for fancy evenings and stick with the drug store buys for regular wear.  I lthink it saves me money, but it probably doesn't. The products below will ALWAYS be on my drug store shopping list.

1. Mabelline The Flasies Mascara
2. Rimmel Fix and Perfect Primer
3. Revlon Photo Ready
4. St. Ives Apricot Scrub
5. Neutrogena Moisture Shine Lipstick in Just Whisper

You don't need make-up to be beautiful, but it doesn't hurt to feel a little fancy.
