List Makers Heaven!

Are you like me and have a million things on your "To Do" list at ALL times? 

Seems like you can never catch up, right? I'm a huge list maker, I make lists about everything. In fact, if I do something that isn't on the list, I'll add it just so I can cross it off. You're guilty too, aren't you? I know I'm not the only one! :)

Right about when 4:30 rolls around I hit panic mode if nothing has been planned for dinner. I hit that "Oh shoot, I guess we'll just have breakfast for dinner... again". Or this delicious go-to, Creamy Bacon Carbonara. And don't get me wrong, I LOVE to cook, but sometimes the "To Do" list gets in the way. 

I was at my friends house yesterday and she had these fantastic planners on her fridge and I thought they were complete genius... 

Here's the thing. I don't have a fancy menu board like most people these days do. It's been on the "To Do" list for quite some time now and I'm pretty sure it's going to stay there a while longer. I like this notepad because not only is it magnetic, but you can rip it off and start a new one without having to erase, pin, glue or whatever it is that you do with a fancy menu board :) . 

About 5 months ago I sat down on the computer and wrote a menu 3 months long! Yes, 3 months! It took me forever and I even wrote down where to find the recipes, but I was so sick of getting to that 4:30 time frame that something had to be done. 

And now I've found myself in the same boat! HA! I'm hoping this list will help me to see it right in front of me and help me think about dinner in the a.m. and not 5 minutes before my kids start whining that their tummies hurt.

I'm a good mom, most of the time, I promise.
