Pottery Barn Easter Egg Remake

Pottery Barn has these adorable Easter eggs for sale at $19.00/set.  Totally worth it!  But since I already had a few required materials for this project I went for the whole "well heck I can make that" route.

SUPPLIES
Graphite or tracing paper (if your free handing skills are lacking like mine are)
Heavy thread or twine
Eyelets
A hammer and nail ( I used these to make a hole in the eggs for my eyelets)
A sharpie and pencil

I picked up these rustic looking eggs (a package of 12) and some graphite paper at Hobby Lobby for $8 total.  I guess not buying the Pottery Barn eggs and saving $11 never hurt anyone.
Step 1: Cut out an appropriate sized square of graphite paper.  Place the graphite paper in between the printer paper that has the desired letter also sized and cut out to match the size and width of the egg.

Step 2: Trace around the outside of the letter with a sharp pencil or pen.

Step3: Use a sharpie or permanent marker to fill in the outlined letter.
Step 4: Use a hammer and nail to make a hole at the top of the egg.  Screw in an eyelet (you can pick these up at Walmart for pennies).
Step 5: Cut a piece of twine or thread or yarn or whatever you have lying around and tie it to the eyelet, secured to the egg.
I used my eggs in my holiday frame, wow this frame has come in handy this year.
It is easy to think of something to stick in this simple door hanger.
